Amal lives in a small simple house along with 9-member family after displacement to Turkey. Her son used to work as a teacher before the issuing of a decision that does not allow Syrian teachers to teach in Turkish schools. Although he is the sole provider for the family, he only works in a supermarket three hours a day despite his herniated disk due to long hours of work in harvesting pistachio. Amal also used to work in a factroy, but she became suffering from varicose veins due to long hours of standing while working in addition to her suffering from nephropathy and herniated disk.
