Samar, a young woman inside Syria, suffered from an early cancerous tumor in the palate, she underwent several long-term tests followed by several surgeries to remove the tumor, which continues to reappear. This led to difficulties in eating after the removal of a large part of the upper jaw and bone from the face which in turn required surgery on the left side of the jaw. Samar needs surgery on the left side of the jaw to eradicate the tumor, in addition to completing chemotherapy treatment.
