Oudai sustained head injury due to war that caused him a nerve disorder, consequently sight impairment and foot drop. He also sustains permanent pain and health disorders following a head lump removal. While in Turkey for treatment, Oudai lost his wife to bombardment in 2017 in Syria. He has one child who lives with her grandfather’s family. He needs fixation surgery as well as vision correction surgery, which he can’t afford.
