Rashed is a man who lives with his family in Syria and suffers from diabetes. The disease severely affected his foot and led to a thumb amputation. However, there is a fear of an entire foot amputation because the large dredging in the thumb resulted in severe infections. Therefore, today Rahsed needs to treat the infections as quick as possible and to secure the costs of some diabetes drugs at the same time. And that is not possible under the ongoing shelling in Syria.
