Hikaye
Wael is an 11-year-old boy who was forced to move to Turkey with his family because of the continuous shelling on the Damascene countryside. The boy suffers from thalassemia which harshly and negatively affect the kidneys and their functionalities. The disease also leads to the formation of stones and deposits in the kidneys and bladder. This unfortunately results in a continuous severe pain and an existence of tinny pieces and blood in the child’s urine. Today, Wael is psychologically exhausted because of the constant pain and the loss of the ability to urinate normally and regularly. After escaping from Ghouta, His family has lived in very tragic circumstances. It lives in a house with three other families, and obviously his father cannot secure the treatment costs for his child... Is there a breadwinner?
