Khaled, born in 2021, lives with his family in the city of Adana in Turkey, in a rented house under difficult living conditions. After the family was displaced from Syria in 2017, Khaled has suffered from various illnesses since birth, including kidney, eye, and ear problems, and a chest deformity. It was later discovered that he suffers from mucopolysaccharidosis type IV. Khaled's treatment journey is long and tough, both psychologically for his parents and financially, as the family's sole breadwinner is his father, who works in construction.
