Since 2016, Youssef has lost his home due to war,getting into a refugee in an old caravan inside a camp that barely shields him from the cold of winter. Displacement alone was not enough to add to his suffering, illness struck as well. He was diagnosed with lung cancer. Then, his life has become a battle between pain and hope, between the treatment he desperately needs and the poverty that deprives him of it. Youssef is not worried about his own treatment; he is more concerned about his inability to provide for his family due to his illness.
