In an isolated camp, Aunt Khadija lives with her son and daughter in a tattered tent that lacks even the most basic necessities of life. After her son lost his job due to the war in Lebanon, their only source of income became the UN aid card, while debts continued to pile up... The family’s nights are filled with fear, as stray dogs and hyenas roam around their tent. They spend their evenings in darkness, with no electricity except for the faint glow of a simple charger. Returning to their home in Homs is not an option. It has been completely destroyed. Yet, they hold onto hope, waiting for summer when they can set up their tent in front of the ruins of their house, searching for a new beginning.
