In one of the city's neighborhoods, Mohammad lives with his wife and five children in a rented house. Together, they face the hardships of life, especially after Mohammad suffered from a slipped disc that robbed him of his strength. Mohammad works intermittently, with an income that barely covers his family's needs, while debts chase him from every direction. After the liberation, He returned to his city only to find that destruction had turned his home into ruins. He found nothing but collapsed walls and scattered dreams, so he went back, disheartened, to where he had been.
