Abd al-Latif endures the harshness of life with patience and without complaint. Every morning, he heads to construction sites, working hard with his tired hands to earn his daily living. One day, while working on a scaffold, he lost his balance and fell to the ground. He suffered serious fractures in his pelvis, leg, and heel, along with head bruises and a broken hand. He underwent two surgeries, and his foot was fully cast. Now, Abd al-Latif lies completely unable to move, with no one to support him in this time of great hardship.
