In the darkness of displacement and the haze of exile, Haitham struggles with what remains of his vision. Diabetic retinopathy is dimming the light in his eyes, threatening the last of his vision and his remaining hope. To avoid surgery later, he urgently needs injections and light therapy but he has no way to afford them. He lives with his wife on the little that his sons which are already burdened with their own families can offer. Let us extend a helping hand and keep his light alive, before poverty extinguishes what remains of his sight.
