Khadija is a young woman in the beginning of her early twenties who lives in a fragile tent made of thin fabric. She woke up one day unable to move. Doctors diagnosed her with an autoimmune muscle disease that requires regular, high-cost IV immunoglobulin (IGIV) treatments to stop its progression. Her elderly father, exhausted from years of displacement, tries to take care of her with what little income he earns from a small street stall, barely enough for daily bread, but unable to secure the monthly medical costs required for Khadija's treatment. Khadija is reaching out with hope for treatment that could restore her movement and allow her to care for her child again!
