She has visited doctor after doctor, clinging to hope, until one advised her to undergo a hysteroscopy, a procedure that might open the door to the motherhood she’s been longing for. But life hasn’t been kind. Bara’a and her husband live in an unfinished house, struggling to meet even their most basic needs. Her husband works as a barber, but his modest income barely covers daily expenses.
