In light of challenging living conditions and in a one-room apartment, Ahmad lives with his family of 6 members. Their room has been bombed more than once and was only patched up with curtains and blankets to provide the bare minimum of shelter. Ahmad suffers from a disc herniation that has left him unable to move. He underwent surgery in 2020 in hopes of ending his pain, but without success. Doctors have now determined that he urgently needs an MRI scan, yet the difficult circumstances of his family make the cost impossible to secure.
