Since 2021, Aunt Naela has been battling nasopharyngeal cancer, while her husband, who works in a vegetable shop in Lebanon, earns barely enough to cover basic living expenses. After returning to Syria following its liberation, Naela sought treatment there at a lower cost, as medical care in Lebanon is far too expensive for their limited income. She still needs the last two doses of immunotherapy to complete her initial treatment protocol, but they are not available for free and their cost exceeds the family’s means. Today, Aunt Naela needs a helping hand to complete her long journey through pain and restore hope for her life and for her children who are waiting for her.
