Hikaye
In a rented house in the city of Al-Bab, Malak lives with her six children, carrying the weight of loss since her husband’s passing in 2017. Their only provider is her son Moath, who works in a grain factory for a wage barely enough to cover the rent and a few meals. Yet the true pain lies in her children’s suffering: Mahmoud battles a severe corneal relapse in his left eye and urgently needs a transplant. Islam, another son, lives with both intellectual and visual disabilities, requiring constant care. Her daughter Sadeel was born with a congenital defect—she lost her right eye and can see only 20% with the left. A family worn down by hardship, day after day, holding on to hope that someone will extend a hand of compassion. Be that hand.
