Hikaye
For more than seven and a half years, Zain Al-Abidin endured imprisonment in Saydnaya Prison, awaiting execution until the day he was finally freed. He left prison with a body weakened by pain — suffering from pulmonary tuberculosis and a 60% narrowing of his aortic artery, conditions that prevent him from working or doing any physical labor.
Today, he lives with his two wives and children in a small rented home that lacks even the basics of comfort. The furniture is worn out, there is no washing machine or heating, and even their refrigerator no longer works. His second wife — the widow of a martyr — cares for her young daughter who suffers from severe eye misalignment (exotropia) and needs new corrective lenses regularly.
Despite all the hardship, Zain Al-Abidin still holds on to hope — the hope of living a dignified life and easing the burden on his family after years of loss and suffering.
Your support can help Zain Al-Abidin and his family afford medical care, essential household items, and a bit of peace after all they’ve endured.
