After years of displacement in Lebanon, Aunt Rasha’s family returned to Syria hoping for a fresh start. The family has five members, and the father works day to day with an unstable income. They live in a modest rented home, but the rent was raised to the equivalent of the father’s entire income. They are now unable to pay, with two months of rent overdue, winter approaching, and few work opportunities. Today, the family is at risk of losing their shelter and urgently needs safe housing that preserves their dignity and protects their children from the harsh winter.
