Hikaye
Aunt Subhiya was not broken by the harshness of poverty as much as she was broken by the loss of her children: two were martyred in detention, and her daughter was martyred in the early days of the revolution. Today, she remains caring for grandchildren who were deprived of safety. Despite her pain, she did not abandon them; she became their mother and their support. The family lives in a small, dilapidated house of three rooms, cracked due to the earthquake. They have no stable income; their livelihood depends on debts and aid, and what the son earns from his simple work in fishing is barely enough to cover the most basic food needs. The aunt and her widowed daughter suffer from chronic illnesses and require ongoing medication, and with the weight of age and loss, signs of exhaustion are clearly visible. Today, the family is in need of a sincere humanitarian stand that eases the heart of a mother worn down by losses and grants them a measure of security.
