Rama was born on 2/2/2012 in the eastern countryside of Aleppo. She lives with her mother and eight siblings in a rented house in the city of Al-Bab. Rama's mother has liver disease in addition to rheumatism. Several years ago, Rama suffered burns that still remain on her hands and chest.
