Amir lost his father, who was martyred in an airstrike on the city of Saraqib. Since then, he has accompanied his mother and siblings on a long journey of displacement from Afrin to Idlib. They now live in a rented home, and his mother works to provide for the family. Amir is enrolled in the second grade at our school to continue his education and fulfill his mother’s hope that he will become a pharmacist in the future.
